Cunningham Upgrade
San Diego made school history in 2007, when they hosted a Regional at San Diego State, and were one of eight national seeds (No. 7). Well, 2008 may be an even bigger year for coach Hill and his Tereros.

Ducks Fly Together?
As we all know by now, Oregon won't be playing baseball until 2009. So that poses the question, "What is George Horton's first recruiting class doing right now?" Not a whole heck of a lot. They are waiting around for a whole season to pass, and then a whole offseason, before they get underway.

Russell's Return
Texas fans can breathe a sigh of relief in regards to the outlook of their 2008 season. At least, at this point. With rumors wildly circulating that junior Kyle Russell will not play this season after contact with an agent, are false.
Russell has the most homeruns of anyone returning in college baseball, and it would have been a huge blow to the Longhorns.

Babson Wins Field Award
This one sort of flew under the radar a bit, so it's time to give some props to Babson College (located in Massachusetts), for winning one of the more prestigious awards given out by ABCA (American Baseball Coaches Association). The groundscrew up there should pat themselves on the back after receiving the ABCA/TURFACE Field Maintenance Award.
