ASU Pouring It On

By Doug Kroll - February 24, 2008

Things have only gone from worse to much worse for freshman Oregon State starter Greg Peavey. After giving up that leadoff home run, ASU has scored 6 more runs to take a 7-0 lead. Peavey lasted only a third of an inning in his college debut. Two errors certainly didn't help, as we'll have his final totals in a bit, but the biggest blow was a bases loaded double by SS Marcel Champagnie which made it 5-0 at the time.

Replacing Peavey is fellow freshman Josh Osich, a 6-foot-3 native of Boise, Idaho as the Beavers try to get out of the first inning trailing by no more than 7.
