Erwood Out as Vandy Threatens

By Doug Kroll - February 24, 2008

Miami starter Matt Erwood is out after a very impressive 6+ innings of work. I'll have his final line in a minute. Nick Kurash is in to replace him. The righthander got into 4 games, while starting 3, going 0-2 in 10.1 innings of work with a 4.35 ERA.

A SAC Fly by David Macias finally put Vandy on the board as it score Shea Robin from third base. Jonathan White then flew out to left to end the threat with Parker Hanks standing on third.

After 7 innings, Miami leads 3-1.
