Miami Capitalizes

If Vanderbilt goes on to lose this game, one play will stick out to Vandy. With 2 outs and Chris Nadeau on third for Miami, Blake Chaffee lifted a ball into right center. David Macias came up throwing to third and had Nadeau by a mile, but the throw was off, and third baseman Andrew Giobbi tried to take Nadeau before he had the ball on a swipe tag, and the ball got away, leading Nadeau to come down the line and score the game's second run. Miami leads 2-0 in the top of the fourth, they have 4 hits, while Miami's Matt Erwood has held Vandy in check to the tune of only one hit, a Macias single in the third inning.
