Wallace Rakes Again

By Doug Kroll - February 24, 2008

Following yesterday's two home run, 7 RBI day, Brett Wallace just led off the bottom half of the first with a solo shot over the left centerfield fence. It was a laser beam that just cleared the fence. And it was great to see him go opposite field right into the wind. Yeah, he's good.

It was a welcome to college moment for Greg Peavey, making his first start ever for Oregon State. Petey Paramore followed by reaching on an error by second baseman Jason Ogata. And after a force out, he just walked Kiel Roling. Let's see if this freshman can get out of it.

Seth Blair for ASU went an easy 1-2-3 in the top of the inning.

1-0 ASU as they threaten for more.
