When the buzzer sounded after Nova beat BC in the Sweet 16, the buildings on West campus emptied into the quad on west... and was this a great showing of school spirit! People came out dressed to the nines, whether they wore nova jerseys, painted faces, nova nation tees, or no shirt at all, the fans had a blast dancing to the sounds of the foghorns and chanting students.

Good news! Thanks to the support of the Villanova student body, Villanova is the winner of the CBS Sportsline MMOD challenge!!! We placed first, followed by Texas and Duke!!! We should be proud of our accomplishment!

It's time to begin our run at the title! Nova plays tomorrow at 2:50pm v. Monmouth at the Wachovia Center! Here are some important things to know about the tournament this year!!!

-Sign up for free march madness on demand with cbs sportsline, the website is http://www.sportsline.com/redir?url=4768 (this is perfect if you get stuck in class during any games, because you can watch streaming live feeds of the first three rounds if you just flip open your laptop!!!

-To fill out a bracket for free and win cool prizes, go to http://bracketchallenge.cstv.com/villi/

-Watch for updates on the team, I will be posting the departure and arrival of the team from each game; they will be returning sunday night to the pavilion, watch for the time which will be announced later, also FOX 29 will be on campus tomorrow morning, friday, between 7-9am around the pavilion, so if TV is your calling, hit up the pavilion for some face-time and support your cats in your craziest nova gear!

Senior Night Party (3/1)
Doors open for all seniors who have tickets to the St. John's game at 5
for a Senior Party (food, drinks, appearances by the team, etc.).
After the party (6pm), those who are in attendance get priority seating
for the game (doors open to the public at 6:30). Seniors, get tickets
fom underclassmen so you can go.

COME WATCH THE NCAA SELECTION SHOW SUNDAY SHOW WITH THE TEAM! On Sunday, March 12th the Pavilion will be open for all fans to come out and watch the NCAA TOURNAMENT SELECTION SHOW live with the men's basketball team. Show your support and pack the Pavilion! Doors will open at 5:00 PM and the Selection Show will be aired live at 6:00 PM. Join the team in finding out where Villanova will be seeded and who we will play! Admission is FREE and all seating is general admission! Wear your NOVA gear as there will be lots of TV coverage, word has it WE WILL ALL BE ON NATIONAL TV! Show the Wildcats your love before they leave for the NCAA Tournament.

So we're 10-0, we just convincingly beat 8th ranked Louisville and there are still skeptics! Come on! Yes, the rankings show respect for the wildcats, but the analysts still talk about that cinderella villanova team and its getting a little frustrating. it seems like no matter what these guys do, how great the numbers are that they are putting up, everyone still sees them as a team who wins out of luck. well, dean had to sit with fouls last nite- WHO CARES??? Fraser played the game with a bloody nose and 4 fouls, and sheridan also had to sit with fouls, thats not excuse; in fact, louisville played very well without dean, a number of players who are usually in the shadows showed what they can do!

The point is, Villanova is a force to be reckonned with, and until the analysts start to realize that, our boys are gonna keep having fun out there and showing the world what its like to have the best backcourt in the NCAA.
